Not Just Any Block:
Purpose-Designed for Effective Myofascial Release
In developing this method of myofascial release, I tested countless tools—from foam rollers and massage balls to traditional blocks and manual techniques. What I found was that many of these tools lacked the precision, stability, or adaptability required for truly effective, body-conscious myofascial work. That’s why I developed a custom cork therapy block—purpose-built to support targeted, therapeutic myofascial release for both practitioners and clients.
Why Cork?
Cork offers an ideal balance between firmness and responsiveness—crucial when working with fascia. Unlike foam, which can compress under weight and reduce effectiveness, or plastic and wood, which can be too harsh, cork holds its shape while still offering a subtle give. This allows for sustained pressure that softens and hydrates the fascia without irritating or overstimulating the tissue.
Its non-slip surface adds to the control and precision needed in clinical practice. You can confidently position it under key fascial lines—whether working with a client on the table or guiding them through self-release protocols on the floor—without worrying about the block shifting out of place.

Why This Size and Shape?
Â
The shape and dimensions of this cork therapy block are no accident. They’ve been designed to mirror the anatomical needs of common fascial restriction points and to support a wide range of body types and therapeutic applications.

Wide & Stable
Enough to support larger areas like the thoracic spine, sacrum, or IT band
Â

Angled & Compact
Enough to work under more targeted zones like the subscapular region, gluteal attachments, plantar fascia, or the occiput

Lightweight & Easy
To reposition throughout a session or sequence, supporting fluid movement and dynamic positioning
  Clinical Benefits
